The "Mississippi Arts Hour" features in-depth conversations with Mississippi artists, musicians, craftspeople and others involved in the arts across the state. This is an edited version of the weekly radio show hosted by staff of the Mississippi Arts Commission and heard Sunday afternoons at 3:00 on Mississippi Public Broadcasting's statewide radio network
The Mississippi Arts Commission is the state's official arts granting and service agency. It receives its funding from the Mississippi legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts, the Wallace Foundation, and other public and private sources.
